Says they don’t know about cabinet expansion
Srinagar, Oct 25 : All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary Dr. Syed Naseer Hussain on Sunday said there is no discussion as of now over Congress joining the government in Jammu and Kashmir.
Dr. Naseer said there is no discussion over the matter as of now. When asked that the NC-led government is expanding its council of ministers, the AICC General Secretary said they don’t know about it. “That we don’t know,” he said.
Congress has been supporting the Omar Abdullah-led NC government since its formation in October 2024.
At the time of government formation in 2024, the NC had offered a cabinet berth to Congress, but the latter declined it, saying it would not join the government until statehood is restored—(KNO)
